Outpatient Psychiatry Opportunity Danbury Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)

Nuvance Health formerly Western Connecticut Health Network and now Northwell Health is seeking a full-time outpatient psychiatrist for our Danbury Connecticut office. Danbury is located in suburban Fairfield County Connecticut about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and PutnamCounties in New York State. Affiliated with Danbury Hospital our program offers teaching appointments working with Nuvance Health psychiatry residents and medical students from the University of Vermont as well as a variety of off-shore medical students. Our busy practice is long established with a highly collegial and supportive working environment. This is an outpatient role with limited hospital coverage obligations. Our outpatient work is a hybrid model conducted by tele-health and in-person. Telehealth is an option full or part-time. Opportunity includes sign on bonus and relocation allowance.

The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in psychiatry. This is an employed position with a highly competitive compensation and benefits package including generous allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses and CME time. Weekend hospital coverage is paid at a highly competitive additional per diem rate.
