Job Summary
The Prototype Data Analyst is a critical cross-functional role responsible for managing and
validating Master Parts Lists (MPLs) for all builds. This role ensures the accuracy of part data
through collaboration with Prototype Engineering and regular alignment checks. Crucially the
analyst will also manage logistics data analysis monitor internal pull systems (WMS/ERP) to
maintain inventory accuracy and seamless material flow and correlate digital part data with the
physical movement of materials in the warehouse. The position involves managing change
management supporting part shortage and deviation meetings and reporting on part status
during build tracking. A bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain or Data Management is
required along with a strong understanding of product data management (PDM) and change
management processes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail strong
analytical skills a proactive approach to complex data challenges and experience with
ERP/MRP and PLM systems. A background in the automotive or EV prototype environment is a
bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Master Parts List (MPL) Management & Validation:
Create and validate Master Parts Lists (MPLs) for all builds working
hand-in-hand with the internal engineering team and partner companies.
Ensure MPL accuracy through regular Bill of Materials (BOM) to MPL alignment
checks.
Collaborate with Prototype Engineering to integrate process-related data into the
MPL.
Perform validations regularly (e.g. weekly) to maintain MPL accuracy.
Logistics Data Analysis & Warehouse Operations:
Analyze logistics data and monitor internal pull systems (WMS/ERP) to ensure
inventory accuracy and seamless material flow.
Correlate digital data with physical material flow including processing goods
receipts and resolving on-floor issues like labeling or packing discrepancies.
Regularly communicate with the warehouse team to update part availability and
ensure proper supply chain functioning.
Change Management & System Alignment:
Manage changes effectively by approving and executing Change Management
(CM) tickets.
Maintain system alignment by analyzing debugging and correlating data during
transfers between various platforms.
Production & Build Support:
Support part shortage meetings providing clear and concise status updates on
all critical issues.
Support deviation meetings to ensure all necessary changes are accurately
incorporated into the MPL.
Report the clear part status throughout the duration of the build tracking.
Support Change Review Boards (CRBs) for any last-minute changes that may be
needed
