JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Project Scheduler to work with Program Management staff to develop Individual construction project baseline schedules with many complex features. Based on applicants experience working remotely will be considered.
This role will prepare and manage multiple individual project schedules and an integrated Master Schedule including monthly project progress schedule updates using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
Schedules will include resource as well as cost loading. Prepare Time Impact Analysis to address all changes in work scope or other project issues. Provide timely analysis and metrics to identify potential problems and assessment of the critical path and cash flow projections.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare develop coordinate and integrate all levels of plans into comprehensive schedules.
- Lead planning and scheduling of individual construction projects.
- Work with Project Managers (PM) and Project Superintendents to develop project schedules on Federal Construction Projects.
- Communicates demand information across the project managers superintendents and support staff so that everyone is aware of required information.
- Provide timely monthly updates to individual projects for submission to the Federal Government.
- Suggest work around strategies that are communicated to the PM.
- Maintain detailed documentation of source documents for baseline as well as monthly schedule updates.
- Provide technical narrative addressing project schedule updates.
- Ensure resultant schedules accurately and comprehensively define the actual work content relationships and durations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 8 years of professional experience in scheduling of construction projects primarily on building construction.
- Extensive knowledge of developing and maintaining Project Schedules for construction projects with resource and cost loaded schedules.
- Experience in EVMS (earned value) including integration of cost and schedule internal and external reporting requirements and other aspects of cost loaded schedules.
- Proficient in use of computer software to include Primavera P6 Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Microsoft Word Excel Microsoft Publisher) and Microsoft Power Point.
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status required.
- A valid drivers license issued by state of residence and in good standing. Must not have any reckless driving or DUI within the past ten years.
- U.S. Government contracting experience with DoD.
- Must pass drug screening
