Job Summary
What we are looking for
SCS Engineers (SCS) is looking for an independent detail-oriented Project Professional to assist with the workload of diverse challenging solid waste projects out of our Reston VA office. You will be expected to provide support to our existing solid waste practice consisting of operations and maintenance and air emissions and reporting for private and municipal clients. You will be involved in permitting and design (all phases including construction plans technical specifications and construction documents) data review and analysis report writing as well as construction oversight.

- Landfill gas modelling and design
- Air emissions monitoring and reporting
- Review of landfill gas and liquids data
- Feasibility studies
- Environmental and construction materials sample collection
- Laboratory data management and review
- Preparation of plans and specifications reports permit applications and proposals as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related Environmental Science is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant environmental experience required.
- Valid drivers license with a driving record in good standing required.
Pay Range
USD $37.00 - USD $42.00 /Hr.
