Project Manager Hospitality Construction

Position SummaryWe are seeking a smart motivated and hardworking Project Manager to support the construction of a hospitality project in Midland Texas. This individual will act on behalf of the owner helping coordinate the project team track progress manage information manage project financials and support the successful delivery of the ideal candidate will have four to seven years of project management experience in construction development engineering or a related field. Hospitality or hotel construction experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone with excellent computer and organizational skills sound judgment strong follow-through and a genuine desire to learn and position will be based in Dallas at the Omni Hotels corporate office. The selected candidate will travel to the project periodically as ResponsibilitiesRepresent the owners interests throughout design construction and project with the owner architect consultants general contractor hotel operator vendors and other project project schedule budget quality procurement and overall construction action items submittals RFIs change orders owner decisions and other critical project project reports meeting minutes schedules cost updates and construction project meetings and site visits document key decisions and ensure timely potential risks delays and coordination issues and elevate them to project with owner-furnished equipment furniture fixtures and equipment punch-list commissioning turnover and project closeout clear concise project updates and presentations for the owner and leadership well-organized and accurate electronic project to Seven years of project management experience in construction development architecture engineering or a related degree in construction management architecture engineering business or a related discipline or hotel construction experience is strongly proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook and with project management and construction platforms such as Procore Bluebeam Smartsheet or similar software is organizational communication and problem-solving to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and follow through with limited collaborative and comfortable working with senior leaders consultants contractors and ownership resourceful detail-oriented and eager to and ability to travel periodically between Dallas and Midland.
