Hybrid Work Schedule: 2 days a week. Mondays and Tuesdays are required onsite days.

Project Manager 3
General Description:
The Project Manager will lead a variety of initiatives throughout the
year. Projects may include but are not limited to technology
implementations organizational initiatives procurement efforts and
RFP-driven projects within both Agile and traditional project delivery
environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management
background with demonstrated success leading large-scale complex
projects within government or other public sector organizations.
The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced multi-vendor
deployment supporting a hybrid workforce (combination of on-site and
remote work) at all levels of the organization. Applicants should
possess exceptional communication and follow up skills along with
significant experience in formal IT project management. This position
requires the PM to be working in person for 2 days a week and 3 days
remote.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- 8 years of experience managing projects with budgets greater than
$20 million.
- 8 years of experience managing IT projects within a large complex
enterprise environment.
- 8 years of experience managing vendors and/or third-party solution
providers.
- Demonstrated leadership communication stakeholder management and
organizational skills.
- Experience leading multiple concurrent projects and driving work to
successful completion with minimal supervision.
- Experience handling variety of stakeholders and system/ business
owners from other departments.
- Experience managing multi-vendor environment in a government
environment.
- Experience providing project management services for IT Projects
involving Commercial Off the Shelf Technology (COTS).
- Oversee technical teams with system architecture and integration
across SaaS solutions.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant project
management certification.
- Experience using project portfolio management systems and tools (eg.
Clarity).
- Previous experience working within state government the Department
of Corrections or other public sector agencies.
- Local to Lansing Michigan area (within 1 hour) is highly desired.
Work will be Monday and Tuesday in office; Wednesday Thursday and
Friday can be remote (non-negotiable).
- Address on Michigan drivers license will be verified prior to
interview.
