We provide mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) construction to institutional and government organizations. We are a design-build contractor with extensive BIM and LEED expertise as well as specialty experience working on complex marine pump station and water and wastewater projects.
Job Summary
The Project Engineer 1 assist and supports Project Manager and Superintendent on the assigned projects. The position works under direct supervision perform routine daily activities and gathers and distributes information. The Project Engineer must be a flexible and adaptable team-player as well as have strong communication and client service skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive review forward and track status of submittals
- Initiate prepare review track and distribute RFIs
- Assist in management of project permit process
- Track and inspect material deliveries
- Hiring and recommend termination of subcontracts/vendors including negotiations sub agreements material agreements and POs
- Management of Subcontractors and vendors schedule performance and payments including the exercise of decision-making to reschedule and/or re-coordinate work to ensure compliance with applicable project schedule
- Ensure compliance with Small Business requirements
- Complete understanding of the Contract including HPAs contractual obligations and the Owners obligations
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or Construction Management
- One (1) to Two (2) years working in the Pump Station Construction or Heavy Civil Construction industry is preferred
- Familiar with grading drainage paving (asphalt and concrete) bridge construction retaining walls plumbing electrical and mechanical and all other pump station construction scopes
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
- E-Builder eCMS and /or RMS experience is preferred
- Procore experience is preferred
- Bluebeam experience is preferred
- Autodesk Revit experience is preferred
