Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Manager to oversee and optimize project planning scheduling cost control and risk management for large-scale construction projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership capabilities and a proven track record in managing project controls for complex construction environments.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Capable of participating in negotiations.
  • Lead the project controls function on a medium to large project.  
  • Mentor and train high potential employees.
  • Conducts root cause analysis.  
  • Drafts comprehensive project procedures.
  • Reviews performance trends prepares analysis and cost impact and monthly project performance reports and recommends contractor invoices for approval.
  • Evaluates manpower labor hour and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.
  • Assists the Project Manager in budgeting and managing incentive programs.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS Business/Finance/Construction management and 10 years of relevant construction management experience with 2 years of leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of expereince in the field of construction management.
  • Experience in CMAR.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with EVM risk assessment and forecasting.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $50M.

  • Position will be hybrid with the preferred location of Dallas TX or Phoenix AZ
