Project Architect - Science & Technology

Boston MA Direct Hire $100k - $120k Hybrid

Konik is partnering with a nationally recognized architecture and engineering design firm seeking a Project Architect to support complex Science & Technology projects in the Boston area. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical design efforts coordinate multidisciplinary teams and guide projects from concept through construction administration. You will play a key role in maintaining design quality while mentoring team members and ensuring successful project delivery.

Project Architect - Science & Technology Responsibilities:

• Lead technical development and production of construction documents through all project phases while maintaining design intent and project quality.
  
• Coordinate architectural structural MEP and consultant disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.
  
• Direct project teams in design development technical detailing documentation and quality control efforts.
  
• Perform code life-safety accessibility and zoning reviews and incorporate requirements into project documentation.
  
• Participate in client meetings present design solutions and support strong stakeholder relationships.
  
• Review shop drawings RFIs submittals change orders and other construction administration documentation.
  
• Mentor junior architectural staff and promote collaboration accountability and professional growth across project teams.
  

Project Architect - Science & Technology Qualifications:

• Professional Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.
  
• Architectural licensure required.
  
• 7 years of architectural experience with similar projects
  
• Strong knowledge of building codes programming technical detailing and construction documentation.
  
• Advanced proficiency with Revit and experience using project management and Microsoft Office tools.
  
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage competing project priorities.
  
• Excellent communication presentation and organizational skills.

Required Experience:

Staff IC
