The Program Specialist II under general supervision performs specialist duties for the College of Engineering. This position is a temporary summer position. The estimated time frame for this position is June 1 2026 - August 31 2026.
The salary isdeterminedin accordance withthe Universitys compensation structure and will becommensuratewith the candidates education and experience within the assigned salary range for this position.
Responsibilities:
Supervises Summer Program Counselors.
Prepares reports on program activities.
Monitors and prepares daily schedule for classroom activities and special
projects.Assists in establishing short and long-term goals and strategic planning.
Collaborates with other to create new and expanded programs.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in applicable field.
Two years of related experience.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal organizational and customer service skills.
Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
Other Requirements:
Required to travel with students on all field trips and Professional Development with companies.
