A Day as RBBBs Program Manager
The Program Manager helps ensure Read Better Be Better programs are implemented effectively and consistently across multiple school and community partner sites. Working closely with the K12 Program Director Program Coordinators Program Coaches and partner organizations this role oversees program implementation staff leadership operational quality and relationship management to support strong outcomes for students.
Your day may begin in the office reviewing program updates responding to partner communication analyzing student and site data and meeting with Program Coordinators to support team priorities and troubleshoot challenges. Youll collaborate with internal departments to ensure programs are aligned with organizational goals and operational standards.
Throughout the week youll visit program sites across the Greater Phoenix area and throughout Arizona to observe programming strengthen relationships with school and community partners and support staff in delivering high-quality after-school literacy programming.
Youll also facilitate team meetings provide coaching and professional development to Program Coordinators and Program Coaches and help foster a positive and reflective team culture grounded in RBBBs mission and values.

Work Environment
Work is performed in both off-site (school and community) and office environments with frequent travel between program locations across the Greater Phoenix area and occasionally throughout Arizona. This role requires regular site visits and travel of up to approximately 200 miles per week.
What You Need to Qualify
Bachelors degree in education or equivalent experience in a related field
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience in previous roles
Experience in and/or knowledge of the Arizona education system
Knowledge of child safety protocols and process development
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication relationship-building and organizational skills
Commitment to RBBBs mission vision and values
Valid Arizona drivers license
Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card (or ability to obtain before start)
Successful completion of a Department of Child Safety (AZDCS) Central Registry check
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in school education youth-serving or community-based organizations
Experience working in nonprofit organizations
Experience with CRMs or program tracking systems such as Salesforce
Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint Slack or
