Position Summary
The Program and Event Associate coordinates strategic faculty IAH Director and institute-level initiatives and events in consultation with the IAH Director and Programming Team. Responsibilities include organizing events and meetings managing event logistics processing transactions tracking budgets and supporting signature IAH events and promotion efforts. The position also provides support for programs and events by supervising student assistants tracking partnerships and sponsorship agreements assisting with the maintenance of faculty and program records managing registrations and mailing lists and collaborating with and serving as a backup to the Events Manager on major institute events. Additionally the role supports in collaboration with the Program Administrator the coordination of awards grants and sponsorships by assisting the application processes coordinating selection committees tracking progress and final reports along with copies of publications and helping to promote opportunities. The position collaborates with the Business Manager in distribution of funding to awardees and budget tracking.
Work Schedule
Hybrid; Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
