Production Supervisor 2nd Shift Bakery

Reporting to the Production Manager at our Indianapolis IN bakery manufacturing plant local producers of Marie Callendar pies you will lead team members through the plants process improvement opportunities and manage production team members to attain production and quality goals. You will identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. Ensure production resources including materials equipment and human resources are available to maintain production schedules.

2nd Shift approximate expected hours: Monday-Saturday 2:30pm to 11:30pmwith some Sundays (2 weeks on 7 days a week and 2 weeks off where its 5 days a week).

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Monitor production to ensure that quality productivity and cost standards are maintained.
• Lead team in tracking and understanding goals Gap Analysis and creating action plans to address performance gaps.
• Provide resources and training to employees to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.
• Troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.
• Enforce plant rules regulations and procedures.
• Support plant and company safety programs promoting a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out personal protective equipment and confined space entry.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of GMPs plant equipment and safety

Physical Requirements

More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites the physical requirements below may apply:
You may be required to walk around the facility climb stairs/ladders kneel or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large moving equipment. Noise levels can be high and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employees actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal Conagra employees Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
