Production Specialist (3rd Shift)

Job Summary
- Develop a working knowledge of production schedules and follow schedule instructions.
- Form and assemble cases to meet production requirements and specifications.
- Monitor auto-filled bags or trays for required fill weight back seal end seal label placement date code and label accuracy.
- Report deviations from product requirements to operators or supervisors and ensure cases enter the case sealer correctly.
- Visually inspect products and ingredients for blemishes flaws extraneous material or discoloration.
- Stop production and report serious deviations from requirements or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the work area.
- Assist operators with start-up production changeover and shutdown activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- Meet the physical requirements required to safely perform all job duties.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Learn and follow food handling and packaging practices.
- Learn and follow safe working practices.
- Learn and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Work effectively as part of a production team.
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and job responsibilities.
- Work accurately with minimal supervision.
- Being on your feet walking around the facility climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
- Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
- Frequently lifting pushing or carrying materials.
