As a Production Skills Trainer youll provide hands-on shop-floor training that prepares new and existing team members for success. Youll strengthen knowledge of our production and service processes Safety Quality Lean Manufacturing and 5S while partnering with the Training team and plant leadership to identify skill gaps and deliver training where its needed a Day in Your Life Looks Like:Train & Develop: Build the skills of new and existing team members through hands-on training within production work Guidance: Help team members confidently understand work orders blueprints work instructions and production & Grow Skills: Evaluate capabilities track progress through the Skills Matrix and identify opportunities for continued Performance: Reinforce Safety Quality and Continuous Improvement practices that support strong manufacturing Training: Gather feedback and training data to identify skill gaps and continuously strengthen training the Team: Partner across departments on training orientation and interviews including providing translation support as & Flexibility: Travel approximately 25% to support other locations and assist with additional training needs as You Bring to the Table:Technical Skills: Comfortable using computer-based systems with the ability and willingness to learn new & Experience: Associate degree OR 1 years of progressive experience with : Current Morgan team members must be in good standing at the time of Knowledge: Experience with manufacturing processes and truck body building including the ability to train or coach Sets You Apart:Continuous Improvement principles5-S principlesLean manufacturing principlesAdult LearningProcess implementationHands on Training ExperiencePhysical Requirements:This is a hands-on role in an active manufacturing environment where youll stay moving work with tools and help bring our products to life.
