Production Associate

At Conagra Brands were known for iconic brands like Reddi-wip Slim Jim Angies BOOMCHICKPOP Chef Boyardee Swiss Miss and more. We are hiring Production Associates to support our Dukes Meat Snacks operations at our Macomb MI facility.

In this role youll work across various production and packaging areas helping ensure safe efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety quality and productivity. Team members may be assigned to raw processing packaging equipment operation or other production support functions based on business needs.

Shift: 6am-4pm Monday Wednesday Friday; 6am-6pm Tuesday and Thursday; 6am-4pm at least every other Saturday.

Location: 23 Mile Rd. and Hayes Macomb MI

Pay: $17.50 $0.50 raise after 90 days. Weekly paychecks.

Benefits start on day one of employment.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Work in meat processing and packaging operations to support production goals.
• Rotate through multiple production positions as needed including raw processing product handling and packaging.
• Weigh ingredients and prepare recipes according to production specifications.
• Operate monitor and troubleshoot production and packaging equipment.
• Perform equipment setup product changeovers and basic operational adjustments.
• Inspect products to ensure quality food safety and customer standards are met.
• Complete production quality and operational documentation accurately.
• Support sanitation activities and maintain clean organized work areas in compliance with GMPs and food safety requirements.
• Follow all safety quality food safety and company policies while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and operational targets.

Ingredients Required for Success

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing food production or packaging experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn production and packaging equipment.
• Strong attention to safety quality and detail.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new processes equipment and job responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 39F to 44F.

Physical Requirements

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:

• Being on your feet walking around the facility climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting pushing or carrying materials.
