About the Job:

The Product Manager - Inventory Purchasing and Positioningis responsible forexecuting the strategy and this role will leadthe deliveryof moderninventory systems. Our team and products enable the ability for Inventory Management teams to effectively manage the synchronized flow of inventory into and throughout Targets supply chain network. This role will work closely with supply chainproduct/business partners enterprise capacityplanningand data science teams. This rolewill work closely withthe engineering teams and lead the development of the prioritized features along with systematic scale and performance enhancements to support business growth.

As a Product Manager you will work in the product model and will collaborate with your product team and key stakeholders to develop a plan and businessobjectives(OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to build a strong knowledge of your product through product discovery to collect customer feedback and work to collect other relevant data points that explain the value and help you prioritise the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will work in unison with engineersoperations datascientistsand business partners to deliver a product.

You will be the voice of the product with your product team and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and you will be responsible to maintain and refine the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria) while prioritising the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team andwill encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals andhigh standardsof performance while committing to the organizations direction. You will foster sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 4 years of product managementor product adjacentexperience

  • Supply Chain first mileproduct managementexperience

  • Data science or AI acumen preferred

  • Experience working in an agile environment

  • Strong communicationskill

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually depending upon what your role team and tasks require for that day.
