Job Summary

Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will manage the purchasing of assigned commodities ingredients or packaging with a focus on price quality logistics reliability and supply continuity. You will be accountable for research negotiations master data analysis transactional execution reporting and crossfunctional collaboration to support procurement excellence and continuous improvement.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the purchasing of assigned commodities ingredients or packaging in alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and apply an understanding of market dynamics cost drivers and logistics.

  • Develop and apply an understanding of company facilities requirements capabilities processes and constraints.

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and multiple crossfunctional teams.

  • Release requests for proposal negotiate contracts and execute agreements aligned to category strategies.

  • Provide research and analytical support for procurement initiatives and ad hoc projects.

  • Support business process improvements and documentation efforts.

  • Manage procurement master data and transactional processes within enterprise systems.

  • Develop an understanding of material requirements planning processes and supporting data.

  • Drive digital adoption by learning applying and continuously improving procurement tools and analytics to increase efficiency and decision quality.

  • Collaborate with other business functions to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain reports to support procurement performance and decision making.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelors degree.

  • Two or more years of experience in purchasing supply chain commodity trade or finance roles.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for audiences at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic thinking and critical problemsolving skills.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems preferred.

  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools preferred.

Compensation

Pay Range:$64000-$95000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employees actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal Conagra employees Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
