Process Engineering Lead

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Engineering Leading projects from concept to completion ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
• Lead Engineering team with project management program management and management of engineering/technician staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customer sales R&D quality and operations to ensure project success.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.
• Oversee the design development and testing of engineering solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers providing technical expertise and support.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including design specifications test plans and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with company standards.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 5 years and a Masters degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience (12 years of related job experience without a degree).
• Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.

Knowledge of ceramic material fabrication machining design CNC programing and advanced metrology.

• Office and laboratory environments.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
