PRN; Shift Varies

The Nurse Extern performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements:

• Must be a junior or senior level student currently enrolled in an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN program or higher.
• Recommendation of instructors and verification of competencies required.
• Current GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Must have positive attitude good organizational customer service and critical thinking skills.

The Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing License (CNA) preferred.
• Six months experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
