Applied Signal Technology: WHO WE ARE

What You Will Do:

• Apply your front-end development expertise to help create complex innovative and missioncritical signals intelligence solutions. Key responsibilities include:
• Contribute to the requirements definition design development and testing of software including new features and enhancements to existing applications and systems.
• Collaborate closely with project managers engineers and crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality software capabilities.
• Follow established development practices and processes to ensure proper configuration management and maintainability of software products.
• Support the continual improvement of the software development environment including DevOps practices tools and workflows within Engineering.
• Travel: Up to 25% domestic to other AST sites and customer locations

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Extensive experience developing in modern programming languages such as Python Java or C within a Linux environment.
• Strong experience building complex web applications using the Angular framework and related technologies (TypeScript JavaScript DevExtreme Cytoscape Leaflet etc.).
• Working knowledge and proficiency in integrating with backend serverside technologies including application servers and databases such as Neo4j PostgreSQL and InfluxDB as well as RESTful or similar web services.
• Proficiency with common data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with microservices architecture distributed systems containerized deployments and modern cloud technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ and eventdriven architectures.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies DevOps practices and test automation frameworks or tools.
• Proficiency with one or more scripting languages (Python JavaScript Bash Perl etc.).
• Experience using configuration management and defecttracking tools (e.g. Git JIRA).
• Experience maintaining and working with complex build processes (e.g. Makefiles CMake).
• Working knowledge of telecommunications systems concepts computer network models and protocol suites such as OSI SS7 TCP/IP and UMTS including routing protocols (EIGRP ISIS OSPF BGP).
• Familiarity with telecommunications network infrastructure (routers switches etc.) and with network reconnaissance tools and techniques.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Poly

The salary range for this role is 118300 USD - 224900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
