QVC Group runs a live always-on retail operation across seven countries and the physical security systems behind it have to perform without exception. As our Principal Physical Security Systems Engineer Global you will own the technology backbone of our physical security program and lead the modernization of the security systems technology stack: the access control platforms networked security systems and connected devices that protect our people sites and operations worldwide.

Reporting to the Director Global Security you will be the recognized technical expert for these systems. You will keep them reliable and performant across every region while driving the technical work to modernize integrate and scale the infrastructure for what comes next. This is a hands-on technical role with global reach. You will work side by side with IT and cross-functional partners to keep security and technology moving in the same direction.

Where Youll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our West Chester PA headquarters (Studio Park) several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: Pennsylvania New Jersey or Delaware.

Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What Youll Do

  • Lead the technical modernization of the physical security systems technology stack from current-state assessment through design integration and rollout.

  • Own the global physical security systems infrastructure ensuring reliability and performance across all regions.

  • Serve as the technical authority for access control and networked security systems resolving complex and often ambiguous issues end to end.

  • Evaluate and integrate new physical security technologies and scale systems to meet evolving organizational needs.

  • Oversee device deployment system upgrades and ongoing performance monitoring across the global footprint.

  • Partner closely with IT and cross-functional teams to align physical security infrastructure with broader technology initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain standards documentation and best practices for physical security systems.

  • Act as a technical resource and informal mentor to colleagues working with these systems.

What Youll Bring

  • 5 years of hands-on technical experience with physical security systems access control platforms and system integrations.

  • Experience leading or playing a lead technical role in physical security infrastructure upgrades migrations or modernization efforts.

  • Demonstrated experience operating at global scale supporting and maintaining infrastructure across multiple regions.

  • Deep technical expertise across the intersection of security operations technology and connected systems.

  • A track record of scaling physical security programs and infrastructure to meet growing organizational needs.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills partnering effectively with IT and technology teams.

  • Private-sector physical security infrastructure experience is preferred.
