Position: Principal Engineer - Enterprise Cloud Security (Onsite) Pleasanton CA

Location: (Onsite) Pleasanton CA area (primarily remote but candidate must be local enough to attend regular onsite collaboration sessions)

Duration : 6-12 months

Job Description:

Immediate need for a Principal Engineer - Enterprise Cloud Security with strong experience leading enterprise-scale Zscaler deployments and migrations from Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN environments.

Key Requirements:

Extensive hands-on experience deploying Zscaler in large enterprise environments
Deep expertise with Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN architecture and migration methodologies
Experience leading global infrastructure and cloud security transformation projects
Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture cloud security and network modernization
Proven ability to manage complex technical migrations with minimal business disruption
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Principal-level leadership experience mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and deployment of Zscaler solutions across global enterprise environments
Architect and execute migrations from Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN to modern cloud security platforms
Coordinate implementation activities across multiple regions and stakeholder groups
Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure security compliance and performance requirements are met during migration efforts
