Press Operator (3rd Shift)

Job Summary
- Operate and oversee printing press equipment to ensure safe and efficient production
- Prepare and execute press changeovers to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process and ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Train mentor and support Press Assistants on equipment operation safety procedures and quality standards
- Perform preventative maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues and escalate concerns when necessary
- Maintain accurate production quality and waste records
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety quality GMP and plant policies
- Maintain a clean organized and efficient work area
- Report safety concerns equipment issues and quality deviations immediately
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Previous printing press flexographic press manufacturing or machine operation experience required
- Strong understanding of quality standards and production processes
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to train and support team members in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively and safely in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable attendance and strong safety awareness
- Basic computer and production documentation skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent bending reaching lifting and repetitive movements
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
