Engineering Manager - Tooling/Mold Repair

Location: Northern Rhode Island
Schedule: 1st Shift
Compensation: $110000 - $130000 plus bonus and benefits

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering tooling and continuous improvement activities within a plastic injection molding manufacturing operation. This position will oversee engineering projects tooling strategy new product launches capital improvements and technical teams supporting production operations.

Responsibilities:
Lead Engineering and Tool Room operations
Manage new product introductions and manufacturing launches
Oversee tooling process quality and manufacturing improvement projects
Lead capital equipment and facility improvement projects
Support tooling strategy automation initiatives and process optimization
Coordinate activities between Engineering Production Quality Sales customers and suppliers
Provide technical leadership for manufacturing and tooling challenges
Manage engineering and technical personnel including training development and performance
Drive continuous improvement productivity and cost reduction initiatives
Monitor project schedules budgets and overall execution

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
10 years of injection molding and tooling experience
Experience leading Engineering Tooling Manufacturing or Technical teams
Strong project management experience including budgets and timelines
Experience supporting new product introductions and manufacturing launches
Knowledge of tooling mold design manufacturing processes and automation
Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with CAD and 3D modeling software preferred
