Our client is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support capital construction facility expansion and infrastructure projects across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys working directly with operations contractors and project teams to solve real-world manufacturing challenges.
This position focuses heavily on industrial construction facility improvements structural analysis equipment installations foundations and large capital projects within active manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities:
Support facility expansion capital equipment installation and infrastructure improvement projects
Develop layouts drawings and project documentation using AutoCAD
Evaluate foundations structural supports beams and facility infrastructure for large manufacturing equipment
Coordinate contractors vendors and internal stakeholders throughout project execution
Support project scoping budgeting scheduling and implementation
Conduct site visits and oversee construction activities across multiple manufacturing locations
Maintain engineering documentation and project records
Ensure projects meet safety quality and operational requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering Construction Engineering or related field
3-7 years of engineering experience
Experience with industrial manufacturing heavy equipment structural or capital project environments
AutoCAD proficiency
Understanding of foundations footings steel structures beams and equipment support systems
Ability to travel up to 50% as required
