Location: Northern Rhode Island Schedule: 1st Shift Compensation: $75000 - $85000 plus benefits
We are seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to support automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This position will work closely with Production Maintenance Engineering and outside equipment suppliers to improve equipment performance reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and support automated production equipment Assist with machine controls automation systems and equipment upgrades Work with robotics sensors vision systems and automated inspection equipment Help identify and resolve equipment downtime issues Support continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency projects Coordinate with equipment manufacturers vendors and integrators Assist with new equipment installations and automation initiatives Provide technical support to manufacturing operations
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field 3 years of manufacturing automation controls or engineering experience Experience troubleshooting automated equipment and production systems Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills Experience working in a manufacturing environment Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations Maintenance and Engineering teams
