About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes cloud-native infrastructure distributed systems and backend engineering. This role will focus on designing building and operating scalable platform infrastructure supporting modern cloud and AI-driven environments.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Kubernetes production environments strong cloud expertise in AWS or GCP and solid coding skills in Python or Golang.
This is a highly technical hands-on engineering role with ownership across architecture infrastructure automation and platform scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of platform engineering initiatives from design through deployment and optimization
- Design build and manage large-scale Kubernetes environments in production
- Develop scalable backend and distributed systems using Python and/or Golang
- Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
- Drive CI/CD automation and engineering best practices
- Collaborate with Product AI and Security teams to design scalable technical solutions
- Support platform reliability scalability observability and operational efficiency
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decision-making
- Participate in platform roadmap and infrastructure strategy discussions
Required Skills
- 6 years of software engineering or platform engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments
- Experience with EKS GKE cluster management networking and container orchestration
- Strong coding experience in Python and/or Golang
- Experience designing and managing distributed systems at scale
- Strong AWS and/or GCP cloud infrastructure experience
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and microservices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana Datadog or OpenTelemetry
- Exposure to AI/LLM ecosystems such as Claude LiteLLM AI gateways or agent frameworks
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Knowledge of service mesh architectures and API gateways
- Experience improving engineering productivity and platform scalability
