Plastics CNCRouterOperator
Job Summary
The Plastics CNCRouterOperator is responsible for operating CNC routing equipment within our Plastics Division to produce quality parts according to specifications. This position will primarily route a standard product line but will also assist with other routing and production needs as assigned. This is an entry-level trainable position. We are looking for someone dependable detail-oriented and willing to learn. The right candidate pays attention to measurements takes pride in their work and improves over time by learning from mistakes.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNCrouterequipment to produce parts according to work instructions and specifications
- Route standard product line components with attention to detail to ensure clean cuts and minimal de-burring
- Assist with additional routing and production tasks as needed
- Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure and calipers
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify and correct errors to prevent repeated mistakes
- Safely use handrouters and other hand tools as required
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Support team members to keep production moving efficiently

Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to use calipers to verify measurements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred
- Previous CNCrouterexperience
- Woodworking or cabinet-building experience
- Experience using handrouters or other hand tools
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
