Job Summary

Supervise Craft employees for the safe and efficient operations and maintenance of a single unit natural gas fired steam unit with special emphasis on Boiler and Machinery and process safety Processes. Provides supervision and direction to a power plant multi-skilled crew including mechanical electrical instrument and control laboratory environmental and/or production personnel.
Responsible for the day-to-day operation and/or maintenance of the generating units while maintaining a safe reliable and efficient operation.
Other responsibilities may include long and short term planning conditioned based maintenance project management and contractor interface.
Will be assigned to work a normal day shift schedule but will be on call and expected to cover the plant on a 7 day 24 hour basis.
This position is also subject to working temporary assignment in other areas of Luminant Power during periods of low plant utilization.

Education Experience & Skill Requirements
Minimum of six years power plant or equivalent experience and a working knowledge of power plant systems plus knowledge of operations and/or asset management concepts and practices.
