You will practice at a large full-service medical center in Central Texas a teaching hospital campus with inpatient and outpatient services on-site imaging laboratory pharmacy and a broad multispecialty medical staff. Support is built in: scheduling nursing and ancillary teams handle the administrative load so your day stays clinical. The patient population is stable insured and largely young to middle-aged families and working adults.

• Provide primary and consultative care to an adult outpatient population
• Manage complex chronic conditions including diabetes hypertension and cardiopulmonary disease
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and coordinate specialty referrals
• Document encounters in the electronic health record
• Participate in quality and peer-review activities

• Active unrestricted Texas medical license (or license from another U.S. state with Texas licensure in process)
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine

Core schedule is MondayFriday 8-hour days (). Scheduled call and an average of 12 weekends per month per the published coverage schedule which is issued 90 days in advance. Federal holidays off.
