Physician Assistant Veteran Disability Assessments (Part-Time No On-Call)


Panama City FL 2 Days/Week 8:00 AM4:30 PM

The IMA Group is hiring a Physician Assistant to conduct independent medical evaluations for Veterans pursuing disability benefits tied to service-connected conditions. Youll bring your diagnostic skills to a structured assessment-only environment no ongoing management no treatment plans no after-hours pages.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed physical exams and gather medical histories
  • Analyze medical records imaging and diagnostic results
  • Apply VA disability evaluation standards to your findings
  • Draft objective well-supported reports linking conditions to military service
  • Submit documentation through our digital case platform

Qualifications

  • Active unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Florida
  • Graduate of an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification in good standing
  • Solid clinical background with strong diagnostic reasoning
  • Experience in Family Medicine Internal Medicine Emergency Medicine Occupational Health Orthopedics or PM&R is a plus
