Longview Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and return to the lives they love following an injury or illness.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke brain injury neurological conditions trauma spinal cord injury amputation and orthopedic injury.

How youll contribute

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.

A Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role will:

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What were looking for

Applicants should possess the following education and experience:

• Education: Associates degree from a PTA program.
• Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.
