About the Role
We are hiring a Physical Therapist for a 12-week contract in Grants NM. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient therapy services and is a great opportunity for a PT focused on helping patients improve mobility independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
Assess patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises functional training and mobility support
Administer hands-on treatments and therapy modalities as appropriate
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and assistive equipment
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
Complete accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety standards
Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program required
Active Physical Therapist license required
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
Inpatient outpatient hospital or rehab experience preferred
New graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered
BLS/BCLS certification required
Cerner experience preferred
Ability to work day shift and 8-hour schedule
