Location: Marysville CA
Pay Rate: $65.00 $70.00/hr
Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks
Experience: 1 year
About the Role
We are hiring a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Marysville CA. This role is in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and is a great opportunity for a PT focused on helping patients improve mobility restore function and achieve greater independence.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients physical abilities movement limitations and pain levels
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve strength balance coordination mobility and function
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility home exercises and equipment use
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Document care accurately according to facility and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians nursing staff therapists families and care teams
- Supervise PTAs and therapy aides as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active California Physical Therapist license required
- SNF or geriatric rehab experience preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- PointClickCare experience preferred
- Strong communication documentation and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
