About the Role We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week contract opportunity in Lamar CO. This role requires inpatient experience and supports physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist across inpatient outpatient and home health settings.
Responsibilities
Provide selected physical therapy treatments under PT supervision
Support patients with mobility strengthening and functional activity goals
Collect patient data related to therapy interventions
Modify selected interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist
Promote patient safety comfort and progress during treatment sessions
Assist patients across inpatient outpatient and home health care settings
Communicate effectively with therapists physicians staff patients and families
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
Colorado PTA credential/license required upon acceptance
BLS required
Minimum 4 years of PTA experience required
Inpatient experience required
Outpatient experience preferred
Strong communication teamwork clinical judgment and patient care skills
