Job Summary
| The technician will be responsible for the packaging preparation and sterile compounding of intravenous medications as well as injectable medications including chemotherapy and other biohazardous drugs. All duties must be performed in accordance with USP < 797> and < 800> standards institutional protocols and safety guidelines. Fills prescriptions under the supervision of Pharmacist in hospital pharmacy or retail establishment and performs a variety of other duties. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules and types labels for bottles. Receives and stores incoming supplies.3-5 years of experience | |
