Status: Part Time (25 hrs/wk)

Shift: 9:30-3pm primarily (Possibility of additional hours)

Required qualifications:

• High School Grad or Equivalent

• 1 year of retail experience

Job responsibilities:

• Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist

• Measure mix count out label and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders

• Responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe effective patient-focused and cost-efficient drug therapy.

Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk VA is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
