Join us in shaping the future of health care and making a meaningful impact at Description:Were seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team at Presbyterian Homes of Georgia - Quitmanon an as needed basis (PRN). The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment detail-oriented strong communication skills and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements including evaluation selection procurement and distribution of drugs counseling and professional consultation
- Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand
- Interprets physician medication orders
- Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties
- Utilizes pharmaceutical equipment to include automated dispensing machines Laminar Flow Hoods and compounding equipment.
- Represents the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner
- Maintains customer confidentiality at all times
- Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
- Exercises sound judgment in decision-making
- Interacts effectively with diverse individuals
- Maintains professionalism in all situations
- Uses time effectively and efficiently
Position Requirements:
- Current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s)
- Previous experience in Retail/ Hospital pharmacy or other applicable settings
