Location:W Broadway Pediatrics Clinic - Council Bluffs IA
Schedule: Monday: 8a-5p Tuesday: 8a-5p Wednesday: 8a-1p Thursday: 8a-630p and Friday 8a-5p

This position will support our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything they need in order to care for our patients. They also play a huge role in a patients experience and prep when they visit any of our clinics. We couldnt do it without you! Expectations:
- Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
- Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
- Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs reviewing drug allergies and current medications completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.
- Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
- Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked clean and orderly.
- Escalates non-routine issues questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately.
- Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated.
- Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
- Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
