Job Summary
As a Pediatrician at Sollis Health you will provide primary care to our members-only pediatric patients and play a pivotal role in shaping and establishing our pediatric services in our Coral Gables clinic.This unique opportunity combines clinical excellence with entrepreneurial spirit asyoullbe instrumental in creating and implementing patient care protocols developing relationships with families and contributing to the overall vision of ourorganization.
An exciting part-time opportunity (20 hours/week) to build and grow our pediatric practice at Solliswith a clear path to a full-time role as your panel expands!!
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive personalized medical care to children from infancy through adolescence. This includes routine check-ups urgent care and preventive health services.
- Assistindevelopmentof our concierge pediatric care model including creating patient care protocols service offeringstraining forNurses and other ancillary staffand operational workflows.
- Educate families about health wellness and preventive care fostering a proactive approach to pediatric health.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses injuries and medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications andtreatments andmanage ongoing care for chronic conditions.
- Educate parents and guardians on health maintenance disease prevention and child development.
- Offer guidance on topics such as nutrition safety and behavioral issues.
- Address and discuss any concerns or questions parents may have about their childs health.
- Maintainaccurateand detailed medical records for each patient.
- Document patient histories examination findings and treatment plansin our EMR.
- Work with the Medical Director and clinical team tomaintainand implement policies ensuring consistent high-quality patient care.
- Partnerwithour team ofSollisproviders to deliver comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
- Represent Sollis at local membership and marketing events
- Collaborate with the Care Navigation teamtobuildupour list of pediatric specialist medical partneroptions.
- Coordinate with local hospitals for patient admissions and ongoing care as needed.
- Cultivate strong trust-based relationships with patients and their families offering an exceptional level of service and attention to their unique needs.
- Performs related duties as requested
Experience
We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds but ideally we would expect that you have:
- Medical Degree from an AccreditedMedical School.
- Physician state license and ability to practice in Florida
- American Board of PediatricsBoard Certificationrequired.
- 3years experienceas a pediatric physician in a hospital or physician practice.
- DEAlicenserequired.
