Pediatric Home Care Private Duty LVN

We are recruiting experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses for permanent pediatric home-care nursing opportunities throughout the DallasFort Worth area.

Youll provide one-on-one care to pediatric patients in their homes helping families manage ongoing healthcare needs in a supportive environment.

Pediatric nursing experience is preferred but not required. Nurses with at least two years of clinical experience are encouraged to apply. The hiring organization provides specialized training for nurses caring for patients with higher-acuity needs.

Schedule: Minimum 24 hours per week. Available shifts and locations vary according to patient staffing needs.

What youll do

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes
• Follow established physician orders and nursing care plans
• Monitor vital signs symptoms and changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments within LVN scope of practice
• Assist with feeding respiratory care and other skilled nursing procedures after appropriate training
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Communicate with supervising nurses physicians and families
• Promote patient safety comfort and continuity of care

Required

• Current Texas LVN license
• At least two years of nursing experience
• Ability to work a minimum of 24 hours per week
• Strong clinical observation and documentation skills
• Dependable compassionate and comfortable working independently within the assigned care plan and supervision requirements
• Willingness to complete patient-specific training

Preferred

• Pediatric nursing experience
• Home health or private duty nursing experience
• Tracheostomy ventilator or G-tube experience
• Experience caring for medically complex patients

Specialized training is available. Prior pediatric or ventilator experience is not mandatory.
