PDL Prototype Machinist The Toro Company
Schedule:Day Shift Straight 8-hour Shift Monday - Friday Flexible Start Times No Mandatory Overtime
Starting Pay: $40.00 $43.72per hour based on experience.
(Opportunity to achieve PDL Prototype Machinist Journeyworker classificationup to $51per hour& credentials from the state of MN)

What Will You Do
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company you will be responsible for the following:
Program set up and operate CNC mills CNC lathes and 3D printers.
Turn concepts sketches and blueprints into real prototype parts.
Design custom work holdingfixturesusing Gibbs CAM software.
Perform your own setups inspections and machine adjustments.
Troubleshoot machining challenges and help develop new products.
Maintain equipment and keep a safe organized workspace.
What Do You Need
To be considered for this role an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4 years of CNC Machining and Programming.
Positive Can-Do Attitude.
Experience with CNC programming manual machining blueprint reading work holding and precision measuring tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must be capable of using advanced mathematics geometry tables and handbook formulas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Gibbs Cam experience.
CREO Cad software experience.
5 Axis Milling experience.
5 Axis Turning experience.
Associates degree in CNC machining or related vocation.
