Job Description:
Must Have Skills
3 years of experience in CPU SoC or platform power/performance engineering
Strong understanding of CPU microarchitecture (pipelines caches SMT memory hierarchy)
Experience with performance analysis and debugging
Proficient in Python scripting and C/C programming
Understanding of object oriented and modular software design
Responsibilities:
Analyze CPU performance using hardware counters profiling tools and workloads
Identify and debug performance bottlenecks across CPU memory cache and interconnect
Collaborate with SMU BIOS and firmware teams to tune power states (P states C states boost)
Debug power and performance issues on pre silicon and post silicon platforms
Execute and optimize manual and automated test plans
Report system behavior and user experience observations (fan noise thermals responsiveness)
