Direct hands-on certified payroll experience is required. This role owns weekly certified payroll submissions and the candidate must have personally managed this process in a prior role.

Experience with Viewpoint Vista is strongly preferred.
Must be proficient in Excel cloud database management and maintenance of digital files.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBIITIES:
Process payrolls for multiple EINs weekly. Payrolls are multistate mixed-shop and fall under Davis Bacon requirements. Administrator is responsible for payroll compliance with relevant state laws federal laws labor agreements as well as internal company policies.
Responsible for monthly union remittance documentation prep and payments. Requires knowledge of unions local agreements PLA/CLAs voluntary deductions and fringe benefit management.
Experience with federal contract payroll reporting via various certified payroll online portals WH-347s. Knowledge of Davis Bacon requirements wage determinations and applicable orders and regulations.
Reviews taxes garnishments and other withholdings for accuracy union compliance and government compliance.
Serve as main point of contact for employee payroll errors corrections and internal/external customer concerns.
Perform basic accounting functions as assigned including account analysis and reconciliations related to payroll accruals maintaining paid leave balances and other data as applicable. Conducts regular payroll reporting as required and assists with financial audits related to pay records.
Support internal systems as related to the payroll department. Systems include HCSS Heavy Job/E360 VISTA and Bamboo HR
