This is a unique chance to influence the departments profitability and efficiency while leading a dedicated team. Financial ResponsibilitiesPrepares and administers an annual operating budgetReviews daily budget and department performance reportsReviews inventory reports and profit and loss reportsMonitors and maintains current levels of inventorySupervisory DutiesManages front counter and warehouse staffMotivates trains schedules evaluates coaches and counsels employeesDevelops enforces and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfactionEnforces policies and proceduresCustomer Service ResponsibilitiesMaintains excellent customer service standardsCommunicates customer service standards to department personnelResolves customer complaints immediately and provides conflict resolution to customers according to company guidelinesWorks with Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobsVisits customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relationsVisits customers to help generate more salesEstablishes and enforces a pricing policy that balances volume customer loyalty and the cost of doing businessRequired Skills and QualificationsParts expertise and knowledge: A solid understanding of automotive/truck parts is essential for success in this Supervision Experience: Proven experience in directly supervising and leading teams with a focus on fostering an inclusive and collaborative work Management Purchasing and Acquisition Skills: While not mandatory a background in inventory management purchasing and acquisition would be highly beneficial in excelling in this Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to communicate effectively across various functions and collaborate seamlessly with team members and stakeholders.5 Years of Experience in Heavy-Duty Trucks (Preferred): A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy-duty trucks is preferred showcasing a strong foundation in the of Supplies Equipment and Mechanical Parts (Advantageous): Familiarity with supplies equipment and mechanical parts would be an added advantage contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the Service Excellence: A commitment to delivering excellent customer service ensuring customer satisfaction is a top Experience: Previous managerial experience is required demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a team Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership skills capable of guiding a team towards achieving common goals while promoting a positive and inclusive work Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at be able to pass post offer drug test and physicalCompensation:$70000-$80000 annual salary Lucrative monthly Bonus PlanBenefits Velocity Vehicle Group Offers:A fantastic culture in a welcoming great place to work environment.401k with Dental & Vision Insurance along with HSA & FSA -Paid Life Sick LeaveCompany perks such as employee discounts company events and training Training and Career Advancement OpportunitiesVelocity Vehicle Group is an equal opportunity employer.
