RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services for two behavioral health facilities in Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian seeking a flexible hybrid position that combines onsite patient care with remote work while making a meaningful impact on patient wellness and overall care.
- Setting: Behavioral Health
- Locations: Two behavioral health facilities in Michigan
- Schedule: Flexible
- Hours: 1520 hours per week
- Work Type: Hybrid (12 onsite visits per week; remaining hours completed remotely)
- Compensation: $32.00$40.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Travel Reimbursement: Paid travel time at your hourly rate

- Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and counseling for patients as appropriate.
- Develop implement and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians nursing staff therapists and the interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient care.
- Offer guidance on nutrition-related aspects of behavioral health conditions.
- Complete nutrition documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional nutrition-related duties within the Registered Dietitian scope of practice.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required).
- Experience in behavioral health mental health or clinical nutrition preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working independently in both onsite and remote environments.
- Experience with electronic medical records and documentation systems.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
