Job Summary
Moms Meals the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market is looking for upbeat people-first individuals to join our team as Part-time Customer Service this role youll be one of the first friendly voices our customers connect with as they place meal orders. The starting wage is $17.00/hour ($18.00/hour for bilingual representatives).
This is an onsite position with opportunities at our Ankeny Iowaor Des Moines Iowa locations.
Standard work hours are Monday-Friday 10:30am-2:30pm (20-29 hours/week).
This position requires 3 weeks of full-time onsite training Monday-Friday from 9:00am-6:00pm.
Position Responsibilities may include but not limited to
- Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with our clients placing their meal order
- Address questions and provide exceptional customer service
- Input order information into the appropriate client order screen
- Document all conversations with client into client information database
- Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file
- Contact case managers via telephone email and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients
- Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed
Required Skills & Experience
- High school degree or GED
- 1 year of previous customer service experience
- Basic computer proficiency including experience learning and using software in a work or school setting
- Clear oral communication skills
- Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints
- Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 1 year of previous call center experience
- Previous experience with auto dialer multi-line phone system and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Teams
- Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
- Repetitive motions that include the wrists hands and/or fingers
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
- Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
