Location: Tracy California (Hybrid Remote)
Service Area: San Joaquin County and Alameda County California
Schedule: 1520 Hours Per Week
Compensation: $25$40 Per Hour Performance Incentives
Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience industry background qualifications business development experience and overall fit for the position.
About the Opportunity
Schooley Mitchell of Tracy is seeking a relationship-oriented Business Development Associate to help expand local market presence develop referral partnerships and generate new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Franchise Owner to support local business development efforts throughout San Joaquin County and Alameda County.
Responsibilities
- Attend Chamber of Commerce networking referral partner and business community events
- Build and maintain relationships with business owners and strategic referral partners
- Conduct initial business development and discovery conversations
- Schedule qualified appointments and business assessments
- Support referral partner development initiatives
- Maintain prospect and activity records within approved systems
- Perform follow-up communications with prospects and referral partners
- Answer inbound business inquiries and coordinate follow-up activities
- Support local marketing outreach and community visibility initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the Franchise Owner on growth strategies and business development activities
Qualifications
- Experience in business development sales account management customer relationship management or similar client-facing roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable engaging with business owners executives and decision-makers
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and business networking platforms preferred
- Ability to attend networking events within the service area
- Reliable transportation for local meetings and events

Training & Onboarding
The selected candidate will participate in onboarding and training activities including Schooley Mitchell training programs workflow orientation and role-specific coaching.
Candidates must be able to participate in scheduled training sessions that may begin as early as 6:00 AM Pacific Time.
