Quality Staffing Inc. is now hiring a Parcel Associate - Emergency Order Processing for a growing distribution facility in Smyrna TN! This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable organized and able to work with a sense of urgency in a shipping environment where timing is critical. Schedule: Monday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM and Tuesday-Friday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Pay Rate:$16.00 per hour with weekly pay.
Position Summary
The Parcel Associate is responsible for the final stage of order fulfillment ensuring emergency orders are packaged labeled and prepared for shipment accurately and on time. This position works closely with multiple carriers and follows established shipping procedures to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process emergency orders after they have been picked by warehouse staff
- Package items securely for shipment
- Print and apply shipping labels based on carrier requirements
- Update order status in the system
- Coordinate scheduled and on-demand carrier pickups
- Follow shipping procedures for multiple carrier systems
- Verify order contents and documentation prior to shipment
- Report discrepancies damages or missing items
- Maintain an organized packing and shipping area
Qualifications
- Must be able to speak read and understand English
